Marty Bodnar, JD, MBA
Marty is an attorney at the law firm of Pear Sperling Eggan & Daniels, PC focusing on estate and business planning. Marty served as Associate Athletic Director at the University of Michigan where for 12 years he directed the ticket sales and marketing for all of U-M’s Division I varsity sports programs.
Marty received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he was a scholarship athlete on the basketball team for four years. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron and his Masters of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
Paul Rzepka, CPA
Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with a BBA in Accounting. He served for nineteen years as the CFO of Servant Publications in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently CFO of a Harley Davidson franchise in Taylor,Michigan.
Paul Rzepka, Jr.
Paul Rzepka, Jr. is the newest member of the Careers Through Faith Board. He holds JD and MBA degrees from Wayne State University. He is currently working at PwC-Detroit in Mergers & Acquisitions Tax. Paul represents the future of Careers Through Faith as the Board considers how CTF will continue to provide services well into the 21st century and beyond. We are especially excited to have his expertise and creative vision on our Board.
Cathy Synko
In 1992 Cathy co-founded Synko Associates, LLC, a career management firm where she acts as Managing Partner. Cathy is the co-author of 100+ Career Transition Tips and edited and published Future@Work, An Employee Survival Guide for the 21st Century. Cathy has been involved in the Careers Through Faith organization since 2004. She assists in the writing, editing and overall development of CTF materials and is currently the Director of Programs for the organization. Prior to Synko Associates, LLC, Cathy’s corporate experience was in training and organizational development in the electronics and healthcare industry. Cathy has a BA in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Business from Purdue University.
Nick Synko
Nick Synko is the Founder and Executive Director of the Careers Through Faith ministry as well as the Principal Partner of Synko Associates, LLC, an Ann Arbor, Michigan based career transition, executive coaching and organizational development firm. Nick is also the co-author of 100+ Career Transition Tips, a workbook that guides readers through all stages of the career transition cycle. As a nationally recognized career transition and workplace skills expert, Nick presents a variety of workshops, is a frequent keynote speaker and has been interviewed on national and local radio stations as well as being the author of a nationally syndicated column on workplace issues for FAITH magazine. Nick’s first book, Future@Work: An Employee Survival Guide for the 21st Century, received national recognition from several professional organizations including the National Association for Career and Technical Education and the University of Wisconsin Center for Education and Work.
