Marty Bodnar, JD, MBA
Marty is Senior Vice-President at Exchange Capital Management, a wealth management firm in Ann Arbor. Marty served as Associate Athletic Director at the University of Michigan where for 12 years he directed the ticket sales and marketing for all of U-M’s Division I varsity sports programs.
Marty received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan, where he was a scholarship athlete on the basketball team for four years. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron and his Masters of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
Owner, A FRESH EYE, a home interior design firm. Former co-owner of The Cobblestone Rose, a home accessory shoppe in Saline, Michigan. Elizabeth is the Fundraising Coordinator for Careers Through Faith. She is very passionate about this ministry and loves seeing the amazing results CTF has in the lives of its participants. Elizabeth is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Communications.
Deacon Paul Ellis
Deacon Paul Ellis has been involved with CTF since 2002 and has been very instrumental in its evolution. He was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Diocese of Lansing and currently serves St. Andrew the Apostle parish in Saline, Michigan. Following a thirty-five year career with executive positions in finance and human resources at a major manufacturing company, Ellis retired to devote more time to ministry. He attended Eastern Michigan University and the Church Ministries Institute of St. Mary’s College.
Wil graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He is instrumental as a volunteer coordinator and assists in conducting the one-day and six week workshops. He also assists in our prayer ministries.
Paul Rzepka, CPA
Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with a BBA in Accounting. He served for nineteen years as the CFO of Servant Publications in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently CFO of a Harley Davidson franchise in Taylor,Michigan.
In 1992 Cathy co-founded Synko Associates, LLC, a career management firm where she acts as Managing Partner. Cathy is the co-author of 100+ Career Transition Tips and edited and published Future@Work, An Employee Survival Guide for the 21st Century. Cathy has been involved in the Careers Through Faith organization since 2004. She assists in the writing, editing and overall development of CTF materials and is currently the Director of Programs for the organization. Prior to Synko Associates, LLC, Cathy’s corporate experience was in training and organizational development in the electronics and healthcare industry. Cathy has a BA in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Business from Purdue University.
Nick Synko is the Founder and Executive Director of the Careers Through Faith ministry as well as the Principal Partner of Synko Associates, LLC, an Ann Arbor, Michigan based career transition, executive coaching and organizational development firm. Nick is also the co-author of 100+ Career Transition Tips, a workbook that guides readers through all stages of the career transition cycle. As a nationally recognized career transition and workplace skills expert, Nick presents a variety of workshops, is a frequent keynote speaker and has been interviewed on national and local radio stations as well as being the author of a nationally syndicated column on workplace issues for FAITH magazine. Nick’s first book, Future@Work: An Employee Survival Guide for the 21st Century, received national recognition from several professional organizations including the National Association for Career and Technical Education and the University of Wisconsin Center for Education and Work.
